Vagabonds of the Caribbean (2013, 12:09 min) is an experimental dive into Haiti's grim period under the Duvalier dictatorship. Using a blend of found 8mm footage, performance art, animations, and a diverse soundscape, this non-linear narrative paints a haunting picture of Haitian history.

Central characters, Queen Nappy and YoYo Yolanda from the "Blingblingguninthebaggie" series, guide viewers through this layered tale, juxtaposing serene church interiors with disturbing clips of the Tontons Macoutes. The sonic tapestry combines artist-composed piano with historical and cultural audio, deepening the narrative's impact.

Experience a vivid mosaic of Haiti's past, as "Vagabonds of the Caribbean" challenges traditional storytelling with its multifaceted artistic approach.
