Hermafrodek op.1 no.2 (2022) an installation that aims to merge performance, film, sculpture, and theater together to produce a unique kind of spectacle and immersive experience. Take a walk through a magical afrolandscape—an interactive environment in which 513 mobile sculptures hanging from reclaimed afro hair morph seamlessly into gender-fluid shapes and motion capture technology creates an endlessly shifting soundspace that casts a spell on the visitor and releases the powers that lie dormant within them as within any material--and let yourself be moved. |
